Winter Shorts from Negarin

This week i am totally in love with Negarin's AW12 collection.
The new London based brand has just about nailed every trend for AW12, these include clean cut tailoring in textured prints (Also seen at Miu Miu) and an overdose of colour of the season Purple (Also seen at just about everywhere else)

Must haves from their New York and London Fashion Week presentations include the brands signature shorts, which come in the most beautiful colours and patterns.

Reiss SS12 LookBook

I headed over to Reiss and Premier Models LFW closing party and was over come firstly by just how many beautiful people were in the room and secondly by how amazing their SS12 collection is. There slick style has always been a favourite with the front row and the latest editions of knitted metallic's and immaculate tailoring are no exceptions.

I NEED the jumper from this final look.

Stella Sells

Stella McCartney's Lingerie line has become almost as famous as her RTW with even Vogue Editor Alexander Shulman blushing at the recent World of Stella Launch in Selfridges that the designer's underwear was her favourite.
Her girly pieces are a must buy for the knicker draw as everyone know's the first layer of your clothing is the most important. Much of the allure for her gorgeous set's are their playful titles such as the Maria Bouncing (above), the Florence Acting and the Selma Dancing as well as my personally favourite the Clara Whispering. It literally feels like the second you step into Stella you have chosen your mood for the day.

The best of Stella McCartney Lingerie is available Fox and Rose and in Selfridges

LFW Day 2 - Simone Rocha

For me there was only one designer today that brought a shining light on what LFW is all about. NewGen's Simone Rocha (Daughter of John) put herself firmly on the fashion agenda with her AW12 show, proving that London really is the place to be for hot new talent.

Her latest collection shown back to back with J.JS LEE at Somerset House had crowds bustling outside to get in. Much like her father's 3pm show there was some disappointed ticket holders who come not get in due to in being so over subscribed, luckily the giant tv on the front of the BFC tent streamed the show live for everyone in the rain stoked courtyard.

LFW Day 1

Today was quite possibility the most hectic day at LFW i've ever experienced. It started off it the NewGen Press Launch, where each of this season's crop of talent came to speak about there brands alongside Sir Phillip Green. My favourite NewGen right now has to be Thomas Tait, his pastel shades and creative yet still flattening way of dressing the female body leaves me completely in awe. I cannot wait to see what he does next. Naturally whilst becoming out of the exhibition i couldn't resist buying one of the Topshop's '10 years supporting British Fashion' T-shirt's out of their re-designed Ice Cream Van on the courtyard. I could easily have brought all 20 design's however i opted for Mary Katrantzou print.

My first show of the day was Corrie Nielsen who really set the bar for all the come. I overheard and walked into countless conversations giving her raving reviews, however for me design wise today it was all about Bora Aksu. The unsung hero of London Fashion Week always draws in a huge crowd and never quite gets the recognition he deserves, it was so refreshing to see AW without a coat in sight, in shades of Pink and Grey and lashings of Orange the collection featured heavily appliquéd floral layers to fulfil the needs of the 4 time NewGen applicant's Fans . images source: Fashion156.com

The show with the greatest front row was obviously PPQ, who are know for their celebrity packed 'Frow'. Caroline Flack, Jameela Jamil, Pixie Lott and Lydia Print were just a few of the celebs causing the entire east side of Somerset House to be blocked by Paparazzi. Inside the BFC Tent their latest collection showed a much more grown up PPQ than ever before, luckily for us they parred the glamour down by wheeling a bicycle down the catwalk.  Image source: style.com

Finally i ended the first day of AW12 at Jena.Theo in the Embankment Galleries Showspace, which is the latest addition to the Somerset House set up before heading home for a rest to do it all again tomorrow. "
